U.K. Vehicle Sales Up 17.0% in March

U.K. vehicle sales totaled 519,684 units for March 2014, up 17.0% vs. March 2013.

March 2014 vehicle sales increased 531.9% compared with February 2014 sales. Sales are traditionally high in March, as the new license plate cycle begins.

2014 sales through March totaled 776,802. This was up 13.3% over the same period in 2013.

Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 114,126, resulting in a 14.7% market share.
