U.K. Vehicle Sales Up 6.0% in March

U.K. vehicle sales totaled 444,051 units for March 2013, up 6.0% vs. March 2012.

March vehicle sales increased 466.6% vs. February 2013 sales. Sales are traditionally high in March, as the new license plate cycle begins.

2013 sales through March totaled 685,320. This was up 7.2% over the same period in 2012.

Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 102,686, resulting in a 15.0% market share.
