U.K. vehicle sales totaled 187,999 units for May 2012, up 8.2% vs. May 2011.
May vehicle sales increased 16.4% vs. April 2012 sales.
2012 sales through May totaled 988,559. This was up 1.4% over the same period in 2011.
Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 154,021, resulting in a 15.6% market share.
