Mazzorin's duties expand to Mexico

In further evidence that purchasing executives have gained clout within their organ-izations, Ford Motor Co. places management of its Mexican subsidiary under Carlos Mazzorin, who retains his title of vice president for purchasing within Ford Automotive Operations. In further evidence that purchasing executives have gained clout within their organ-izations, Ford Motor Co. places management of its Mexican subsidiary under Carlos Mazzorin, who retains his title of vice president for purchasing within Ford Automotive Operations. Jose Manual Machado, president and CEO of Ford of Mexico, reports to Mr. Mazzorin. In a related move, James Padilla is named president of the newly formed Ford South American Operations. He was president of Ford Brazil and Argentina.
