Lomberto L. Perez, originally from Cuba, is the new dealer-operator of AUTOCITY Buick-Pontiac-GMC in Homestead, FL.
He assumed that post after selling his interest in a California dealership to General Motors, and returning to south Florida. He lived there for 30 years before heading west.
He is aggressively promoting Internet sales. The store, dubbed a "cyberdealership," has a dedicated Internet department. Several customers, from as far as Georgia, have purchased vehicles without even visiting the dealership, he says.
