Former NADA chairman Paul Holloway adds Jaguar franchise Paul Holloway, the 1998 chairman of NADA, has added a Jaguar franchise to his dealership portfolio in Exeter, NH.
Dreher-Holloway Jaguar is headed by Mr. Holloway, who serves as dealer principal and general manager. Michael Healey, sales director, oversees sales at the facility. The service director is Michael Baillargeon, and Jack Hartwell is the parts director.
"We are very pleased to bring Jaguar's exciting vehicles to customers in this area," says Mr. Holloway.
His family dealership collection also includes Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, GMC, Buick and Chevrolet franchises.
Dealership GM wins golf vacation Pat Goldwait, general manager of Gillman Imports of Austin, TX, won a fantasy golf vacation in a promotion by Philadelphia's Flagship Credit Corp.
As the first-place winner of the contest promoting Flagship's non-prime F&I products, Mr. Goldwait and three friends will play two rounds of golf at the famous Pebble Beach CA complex. The prize package includes lodging and airfare.
The second-place prize, a set of Callaway X-12 Big Bertha irons, went to Tim Rogers, finance manager at Classic Chevy in Owasso, OK.
Dennis Long, general sales manager at Toyota of Concord in Concord, NC, came in third and won a Big Bertha driver.
Carr Subaru Northwest earns national honors from automaker Carr Subaru Northwest of Beaverton, OR, won a Recognition of Achievement for Total Labor Sales from Subaru of America.
During 1999, the dealership tallied $2.1 million in labor sales, tops in the U.S.
Subaru District Manager Tom Lajoie presented the award to dealership service manager Chris Bradshaw.
"I'm really proud of our service team," says Mr. Bradshaw. "They've earned this award with hard work, customer dedication and great attitudes."
Executive recruiter now runs Big Apple's big BMW dealership Jeffrey A. Falk has is the new president and general manager of BMW of Manhattan, a factory-owned store in New York City. It is BMW's largest retail center in the U.S.
Mr. Falk has 15 years of retail experience in the automotive industry with other luxury European brands Audi, Porsche and Volvo.
For the past four years, he has worked as an executive recruiter. His interests include restoring vintage automobiles.
