Hyundai takes first place in iSpot.tv’s latest ranking of the most-viewed automotive commercials – the ads that have generated the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.

In its No.1 commercial for the week of Aug. 17, Hyundai touts the reliability of the Tucson and notes it was ranked the No.1 compact CUV in initial quality by J.D. Power.

At No.2, Chevrolet encourages you to “find your get-up-and-go.” During the Chevy Open Roads Sales Event, buyers can receive up to 15% of MSRP cash back on select ’20 models.

In the third-place spot, two friends playfully debate whether the Encore GX they’re driving is a Buick or an Alexa. Right now, customers can get GM-employee pricing on most ’20 Buick CUVs.

Kia takes fourth place with an ad for the ’21 Telluride that acknowledges the twists and turns life throws at us, such as a boy’s search to find his runaway dog. This spot has the best iSpot Attention Score in the ranking (96.89), meaning viewers were on average more likely to watch it all the way through (vs. interrupting it by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).

Subaru rounds out the ranking with a commercial spotlighting photojournalist and Subaru owner Stuart Palley, who has documented the California wildfires. The automaker and its retailers are replanting 500,000 trees in devastated forests as part of the brand’s “love promise.”
