General Motors Corp. completes its minicar play for Chevrolet at the New York auto show, revealing the Groove 5-door model.

The Groove joined the Trax and Beat models, pictures of which were released by GM prior to their unveiling today.

All three of the 1L models were designed by GM’s studio in Incheon, South Korea, and are based on the auto maker’s global mini architecture engineered by GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co.

The Groove is a tiny multipurpose vehicle with conventional doors. Its front fascia more closely resembles the Trax than the Beat, with a similar grille opening and treatment. But headlamps are unique, flowing back into the fenders. The Trax features large, round headlamps.

Following today’s unveiling of the three cars, GM is soliciting votes from the public on vote4chevrolet.com. The auto maker says it will use the balloting to determine whether to sell any of the vehicles in the U.S.
