TRIAM plans new Detroit-area tech center

Metal stampings and molded plastic component manufacturer TRIAM Automotive says it will build a new technology center in Sterling Heights, MI, that will have design, prototype and test capability by Nov. 30. The company also is adding nine presses to its stamping facility in the Detroit suburb.
