Infiniti names Christian Meunier as president of Infiniti Motor and chairman of the Infiniti management committee effective immediately.

Meunier was global division vice president-marketing and sales operations for the Nissan luxury brand. He previously was senior vice president-sales and marketing and operations for Nissan North America and was president of Nissan Canada.

He replaces Roland Krueger, in the role since 2015, who Infiniti says in a statement has elected to leave the company to pursue new opportunities.

Nissan CEO and President Hiroto Saikawa says Krueger played a central role in advancing the Infiniti brand’s progress in the premium segment around the world.

“Roland Krueger’s contributions over the last four years steered Infiniti through an important period of growth,” Saikawa says.
