Where the model type normally goes, buyers can now opt to have the wording of their choice in the same style of lettering.

Normally, where the Porsche model names now go — such as Cayenne, Turbo, Carrera, Cayman or Boxer — the name of the owner, his or her significant other, dog, company, city or anything else can be put on the car.

A website firm, www.nameyourporsche.com, offers the customizing. It costs $450 for five letters, $60 for each additional letter.
