Skoda Superb Wagon to Bow in Frankfurt
Original plans call for Job One in late November, but supplier sources say Skoda may start serial production ahead of schedule.
VIENNA – Skoda Auto a.s. will pull the covers back on the station wagon version of its Superb flagship at the Frankfurt auto show next month.
The company released the first pictures of the car today.
This is the first wagon for the Superb, which was produced only in sedan form in its first generation, manufactured between 2001 and 2008.
Original plans call for Job One in late November, but supplier sources say Skoda may start serial production ahead of schedule.
The new Superb wagon will share the assembly line with the Superb sedan and Yeti compact SUV at Skoda’s plant in Kvasiny, Czech Republic. The Roomster MPV is manufactured at the same plant but on separate lines.
