Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. says it will increase pricing for its Corolla small car less than 1% when ’07 models begin to arrive at dealerships next month.

The Corolla will be offered in three trim levels, the base $14,205 CE, the sporty $15,250 S and the top-of-the-line $15,415 LE. All three models come standard with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The base prices represent a 0.7% increase for the CE and S models and a 0.6% hike for the LE.

Adding an automatic transmission adds $800 to all three models.

Toyota is dropping the XRS model for ’07.
