Mazda Announces Pricing, Details Trim Levels for ’22 Mazda3
The front-wheel-drive Mazda3’s naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.0L produces 155 hp and 150 lb.-ft. (203 Nm) of torque. With a starting price of $20,800, excluding $1,015 for destination and handling charges, it is the lowest-priced model in the ’22 Mazda3 lineup.
Mazda announces pricing and packaging for the ’22 Mazda3 compact sedan and hatchback arriving at dealerships this winter.
The Mazda3 2.0, offered exclusively as a front-wheel-drive sedan, is equipped with a naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.0L 4-cyl. producing 155 hp and 150 lb.-ft. (203 Nm) of torque paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
With a starting price of $20,800, excluding $1,015 for destination and handling charges, it is the lowest-priced model in the ’22 Mazda3 lineup.
The Mazda3 2.5 S uses a Skyactiv-G 2.5L 4-cyl. capable of 186 hp and 186 lb.-ft. (252 Nm) of torque. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included with all the standard features packaged with the Mazda3 2.0. Starting prices for the sedan and hatchback are $21,750 and $22,750, respectively.
The same engine is installed in the Mazda3 2.5 S Select, which features blindspot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry and dual-zone automatic climate control. The sedan is priced at $23,100 and the hatchback is priced at $24,100.
Mazda’s i-Activ all-wheel drive becomes an option starting with the Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred package, which includes a power moonroof, heated front seats, 8-way power driver seats and seat memory, and gloss black front grille. The FWD Preferred package sedan is priced at $24,750 and the hatchback starts at $25,750.
The Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition shares features found in the Preferred package while adding Bose 12-speaker premium audio with aluminum speaker grilles. The Carbon Edition is only offered in Polymetal Gray exterior paint and red leather, with the sedan and hatchback priced at $26,400 and $27,400, respectively.
The Mazda3 2.5 S Premium package enhances the Preferred package with SiriusXM satellite radio with three-month trial, full-color head-up display and Mazda Navigation System.
A 6-speed manual transmission is optional on the Premium FWD hatchback, priced at $28,350; the FWD sedan starts at $27,350. The all-wheel-drive Premium sedan is priced at $28,750 and the AWD hatchback starts at $29,750.

The Mazda3 2.5 Turbo (pictured below) is powered by a turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5L 4-cyl. delivering 250 hp and 320 lb.-ft. (434 Nm) with premium 93 octane fuel paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD.
With regular 87 octane fuel, the engine is capable of 227 hp and 310 lb.-ft. (420 Nm) of torque. The Mazda3 2.5 Turbo shares features with the 2.5 S Premium package, except without leather seats and Mazda Navigation System. The 2.5 Turbo sedan is priced at $30,500 and the hatchback, $31,550.
Topping the lineup is the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus featuring gloss black aerodynamics accents. Sedan turbo models include a rear lip spoiler, while hatchback turbo models are equipped with a rear roof spoiler and front air dam.
Convenience upgrades include Traffic Jam Assist and 360° View Monitor. The Turbo Premium Plus sedan is priced at $33,100 and the hatchback starts at $34,400.
