Porsche Reveals Interior of 2024 Macan BEV
Three displays and an optional augmented reality head-up display are among a raft of new features on the Porsche Macan.
Porsche unveils the interior of its upcoming electric-powered Macan ahead of the new SUV’s planned introduction next month.
Set for North American sale in 2024, the second electric-powered Porsche model adopts a dashboard and control layout similar to that of the Taycan as well as the recently facelifted Cayenne and third-generation Panamera.
The dashboard of the electric Macan is dominated by three separate displays: a 12.6-in. (32-cm) free-standing curved instrument display, a 10.9-in. (28-cm) central touchscreen infotainment display and an optional 10.9-in touchscreen display in front of the passenger, the latter of which supports apps and streaming services.
The new displays are joined by a dashboard-mounted gear selector, a new steering wheel with rotary drive-mode controller and redesigned center console, all three of which take their lead from the Taycan.
Porsche says the electric-powered Macan will be the first model to feature its new augmented reality head-up display unit, with further details to be revealed at the new model’s unveiling in January.
