For the second week running, Chevrolet captures first place in the weekly Most Engaging Auto Ads rankings, powered for WardsAuto by iSpot.tv.

Chevy’s long-form commercial pits the Silverado pickup’s steel bed against a competitor’s aluminum bed and lets viewers see for themselves which stands up best to an avalanche of cinder blocks.

Also continuing its streak on the chart is Kia, which holds on to second place with a whimsical ad in which humans and hamsters make music together.

Mazda gains traction this week, rising from fifth to third place with an ad for the CX-9, while Volvo’s commercial featuring music from Sharon Van Etten once again takes No. 4.

Finally, Ford’s “We Are All Champions” spot is back on the chart at No. 5 after a week off. This commercial has had 1,290 national airings to date since it was first broadcast in the beginning of May.
