Ford Has Its Day as Fusion Ad Reaches No.1 in Ranking

Ford is No.1 but this week’s top-ads list is dominated by Mazda, which takes three of the five spots for commercials touting its CX-5, Mazda3 and Mazda6 models.

Ford’s ad about well-made choices takes the top spot on this week’s Most Engaging Auto Ads ranking, powered for WardsAuto by iSpot.tv.

The playful spot for the ’17 Fusion features the song “Happy Day” by Emilie Mover and shows a woman passing through a series of doors in ever-changing outfits, from casual to travel to business attire. This commercial has held steady in the top five for the past month before rising to first place this week.

Kia lands in second place with another ad that has charted before. It reassures daydreaming drivers that the ’17 Forte will keep them safe with its autonomous emergency braking. Mazda owns the rest of the chart with ads for the CX-5, Mazda3 and Mazda6 taking third, fourth and fifth place, respectively.

iSpot.tv tracks TV ads in real-time and allows customers to monitor social actions, search activity and online video views associated with TV spots across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, Bing and Yahoo!.
