A tale of brotherly rivalry and bonding, Toyota’s “Wish Bold” debuted in July. Boosted by a fresh burst of airings in late August and early September, Toyota edges out Honda, whose latest Summer Clearance Event ad revolves around a funny dream sequence including a Glee-style chorus and a wind machine.
Last week’s No.1 spot, a popular Chevrolet ad that pits its steel pickup-truck bed against a competitor’s aluminum bed, slips to No.3, while Mazda’s long-running “Driving Matters: Crafted” commercial moves up from fifth place to fourth.
Honda makes another appearance on the chart at No.5, its “New Rules” ad that drives home the versatility of the Ridgeline pickup.
