American Honda Motor Co. Inc.’s Acura brand announces pricing for the new ’07 MDX cross/utility vehicle, with prices increasing an average 6.17%, or $2,546.50, vs. the previous-generation model.
The base MDX, which has a new 3.7L V-6 engine making 300 hp, will start at $39,995.
Adding a technology package, which includes a 10-speaker, 410-watt premium audio system and navigation system, brings the MDX’s price to $43,495.
The MDX with a sport package, which includes all the technology package features, is $45,595.
The sport package adds a new active damper suspension system and upgraded leather.
An entertainment package, which includes a rear-seat DVD system, heated second-row seats and a remote-linked power tailgate, can be combined with the technology and sport packages and adds $2,200 to the price of each model.
Destination and handling for all ’07 Acuras is $670. The MDX goes on sale Oct. 17 at U.S. Acura dealerships.
