Audi of America Inc. fills a 6-month vacancy, naming a former Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. executive to the position of chief operating officer.
The appointment of Mark Del Rosso, former general manager of Toyota’s Portland, OR, region, is effective immediately and plugs a hole that’s existed since the departure of Tom Del Franco in June.
Del Rosso, 43, will direct Audi’s sales operations, vehicle distribution, market strategy and planning and corporate sales, as well as its Certified PreOwned Operations. He will report directly to Audi Executive Vice President Johan de Nysschen.
“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge in dealing directly with dealers and customers,” de Nysschen says. “And he as the business savvy gained from more than 15 years of field and corporate experience.”
Del Rosso had been with Toyota in various marketing a field positions since 1991.
