Bentley Motors Inc. opens its first dealership in South America, christening a new showroom in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Owned and operated by British Cars do Brasil Ltda., the new retail outlet is Bentley’s 48th in the America’s region, the auto maker says.
Entry into Brazil, a key ethanol-fuels market, fits with Bentley’s plans to make all of its vehicles compatible with renewable fuels by 2012, the auto maker says.
Bentley says it sold more than 1,450 vehicles in the Americas region in 2009.
