News around battery-electric vehicles will be coming fast and furious for the next 12 months as automakers adjust their cadence of investments and product introductions according to White House policy that figures to be hostile to BEV advancements. President-elect Donald Trump has said he wants to kill the federal tax credit for BEVs and claw back subsidies for U.S. battery plants.

In this week’s podcast, Senior Editor David Kiley talks through the Trump transition regarding BEVs, Nissan’s huge restructuring, and the Vistiq and Cadillac brand with Cadillac marketing director Brad Franz and Chief Engineer Jeff MacDonald.
