Chrysler LLC is shuffling executives around, and once again the moves affect Simon Boag, who now is on his second job in two weeks and third position since rejoining Chrysler from Mercedes-Benz in May.

Boag will take over as president-Mopar/Global Service and Parts, replacing Senior Vice President Christine K. Cortez, who will retire. In his new position, Boag will report to Vice Chairman James E. Press and oversee global service, international service and parts, global parts marketing, service contracts and global parts supply chain management.

Replacing Boag as vice president-global alliance operations, a position he was named to two weeks ago, is Scott R. Garberding. Previously in charge of supplier quality, Garberding will report to Vice Chairman Thomas W. LaSorda.
