Chrysler Group is taking a cue from Hollywood as it holds a series of festive “premiere” events at dealerships nationwide for potentially millions of customers to promote a bevy of new Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles.

Three brand-specific national events will give the public a “sneak preview” of new Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge products, some on display at dealerships even before they become widely available.

Dealers throughout the U.S. will host the events to showcase nine new vehicles from the biggest product offensive in Chrysler Group history.

The first “premieres” were in April at Chrysler dealerships, where guests got up close and personal with the new '05 300 Series, as well as the '05 PT Cruiser convertible and the '05 Town & Country minivans with all-new Stow 'n Go seating.

“(The events) are designed to look and feel like a Hollywood premiere with the vehicles serving as the ‘stars,’” said Gary Dilts, Chrysler Group's senior vice president-sales.

Participating dealerships are decorated to create a “buzz” and excitement, spotlighting not only the products, but the latest in vehicle technology and quality, says Dilts.

More than 4 million existing and potential customers received invitations to the events at more than 2,100 participating dealers, representing nearly 90% of total Chrysler brand sales volume.

Chrysler brand premieres are underway. The spotlight is on Dodge brands at dealerships on June 17. Jeep showcases its new products Hollywood-style in the fall.
