Chrysler Group ceased production of the current-generation Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Stratus May 18.
The cars will be replaced next year by all-new sedans to be built in Sterling Heights, MI, where pilot production has begun. Once Chrysler completes a $506 million, flexible manufacturing retooling, the plant also will be able to build the Dodge Caliber small car.
