Cars.com will be the sole provider of used car listings on Kelley Blue Book's (kbb.com) 'Blue Book Classifieds' and ‘Buy Used’ channels beginning in January.

Also, as part of the multi-year agreement, Kelley Blue Book will become the exclusive provider of used vehicle value information on Cars.com and its co-branded affiliate sites.

Dealers and private party sellers will be able to obtain Blue Book values as well as list vehicles for sale through Cars.com or ‘Blue Book Classifieds.’

“Our dealer customers, advertisers, and private party sellers will have access to the largest, most qualified audience of automotive shoppers” says Mitch Golub, general manager of Cars.com.

“The deal is a real coup for Cars.com,” says Scott Weitzman, senior director, J.D. Power and Associates. “Kelley Blue Book has the largest documented audience of car buyers and the deal gives Cars.com exclusive access to them.”

It's also a win for Kelley, he says. “Cars.com is one of the major players for used car listings. Partnering with the right folks is key to succeeding in this business.”
