Despite customer satisfaction improvements, auto dealerships offer the worst service of eight industries polled, according to a survey by Maritz Inc.
Of the nearly 1,000 respondents — about half male, half female — 30% say hotels and 28% say banks offer “the very best service.” Those scored at the top. Only 5% of respondents say dealerships offer that level of service.
Conversely it was a tie at 21% between dealerships and fast food restaurants for the “very worst service.”
