Mercedes-Benz USA names David Schembri vice president of marketing. He replaces Ken Enders who left “to pursue other interests.”

Mr. Schembri is responsible for all product marketing for passenger cars and light trucks, marketing communications and advertising in the U.S. He's been with the company since 1994, most recently as vice president of sales/west.

Mr. Enders left as sales softened, and Mercedes appeared on the verge of losing its title as the top luxury car in America.
