Building on its established reach into 17 vertical business markets, Penton Media has created a new marketing services division to offer business-to-business marketers digital media solutions, sales optimization tools and content-driven products.

Penton Media, publisher of WardsAuto.com and Ward’s AutoWorld and Ward’s Dealer Business magazines, is a leading, independent B2B media company with flagship products serving transportation, manufacturing, technology, foodservice, public infrastructure and agriculture.

The new Penton Marketing Services www.pentonmarketingservices.com will work with clients to analyze business needs and develop strategic marketing solutions, according to the company. Services will include a broad range of content-related products, website development, search engine optimization, social media and eListening, lead generation and lead nurturing tools, research, mobile and video marketing services.

As part of its investment to launch the new marketing services business, Penton recently acquired the online marketing firm EyeTraffic Media. Penton Marketing services will be headed by Sr. VP Kim Paulsen, with former EyeTraffic Media CEO George Assimakopoulos serving as the new division’s VP of digital media services.
