2025 Brings SUV-Load of New Battery-Electrics
The auto industry is letting up a bit on the accelerator pedal in bringing new EVs to market, but a crop of SUVs, CUVs and two pickups hitting the market will test consumers' appetite for driving electric.
There has been an undeniable pause in consumer demand for BEVs. The incoming Trump Admin. 2.0 has vowed to roll back the federal tax credits for electric-vehicle buyers, which will further dampen demand and force automakers to slow down investments in bringing more BEVs to market.
For the 2025 model year, a raft of new battery-electric CUVs and SUVs are hitting the market, and these are the most popular categories for consumers overall. Here is a look at the new hardware.
Audi Q6 E-Tron

The Vistiq offers a 33-in. (127-cm) curved LED display Cadillac is commonizing across the lineup, five-zone climate control and a 23-speaker AKG audio system. Standard safety features include Super Cruise hands-free driving and emergency evasive steering assist.
