The Fiat 500’s big sister, the five door 600 goes electric as the 600e marks the brand’s return to the B-segment.

It’s aiming to offer both city lovers and outdoor enthusiasts more space and comfort from its extra size claiming space for five occupants, best in class front storage and boasts an electric range of more than 250 miles on the WLTP combined cycle. City work sees that rise to a claimed 375 miles.

The 600e’s lithium-ion battery pack has a capacity of 54 kWh. To optimize charging time, it is equipped with a 100-kW fast charger system to charge the battery rapidly. Fiat claims it takes less than half an hour to charge the battery from 20% to 80%. The model also comes with an 11kW onboard charger and a Mode 3 cable for charging at home or in public, which ensures a full charge in less than six hours.

The electric powertrain has an output of 115 kW (154bhp), delivering acceleration from 0-62 mph in 9.0 seconds. The new Fiat 600e gives drivers the option of three driving modes, eco, normal, sport, which can be selected to match your individual styles. European order books open in October, with the first customer deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2024. Prices start from £32,995 ($40,856)
