Fiat Releases Pictures of Fiat 500L Living 7-Seater

The new model, manufactured at Fiat’s plant in Serbia, will have its world preview in July on the sixth anniversary of the 500 family.

VIENNA – Fiat reveals the first pictures of the Fiat 500L Living, a stretched 7-seat version of the 500L sedan.

The new model, which is manufactured at the Fiat Automobili Srbija plant in Kragujevac, Serbia, will have its world preview in July on the sixth anniversary of the 500 family.

“The new Magic Purpose Wagon by Fiat has all the charm of the 500, the agility of a city car, as compact as a midsize car, the comfort and contents of a C-segment station wagon or sedan (and) the space and the versatility of a multipurpose vehicle,” the auto maker says.

With an additional third row of seats, the 500L Living is 170 ins. (435 cm) long, 70 ins. (178 cm) wide and 66 ins. (167 cm) high. It is about 8 ins. (20 cm) longer than the 500L.

The new model offers a load capacity of 22.5 cu.-ft. (638 L).

At launch, the Fiat 500L Living will be equipped with two gasoline engines, a 1.4L 16-valve version making 95 hp and a 0.9L TwinAir Turbo producing 105 hp. Also offered are two turbodiesels, a 1.6L MultiJet II making 105 hp and a 1.3L MultiJet II producing 85 hp, the latter available with automatic transmission.

Orders will be taken in Italy starting in July, with other European markets to follow.
