’11 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Pricing Starts at $32,995

Chrysler Group LLC announces its redesigned-for-’11 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4-wheel-drive SUV will start at $32,995, a vehicle featuring the auto maker’s new 3.6L Pentastar V-6 engine.

The most expensive Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo model with 4WD will start at $42,995, and Chrysler also will make a mid-level Limited trim available starting at $39,995.

The Grand Cherokee arrives with Chrysler’s new 3.6L V-6, a motor making 290 hp and delivering up to 23 mpg (10.2 L/100 km), an improvement of 11% over its predecessor, and a range of up to 500 miles (805 km) on one tank of gasoline.

A 360-hp 5.7L V-8 engine will be available at each trim level, with three different 4WD systems boasting a top towing capacity of 7,400 lbs. (3,223 kg).

The ’11 Grand Cherokee arrives at U.S. dealers next month from Chrysler’s Detroit assembly plant, where the auto maker invested $1.8 billion to build the new Jeep.
