Advance Orders Pouring In for ’10 Camaro

Chevrolet dealers have taken more than 5,000 pre-orders for the all-new Camaro sports car that goes on sale in early March.

Production of the Camaro is scheduled to begin Feb. 16 at General Motors Corp.’s Oshawa, ON, Canada, plant.

The first Camaro off the line will go to the GM Heritage Center in Sterling Heights, MI. GM will auction the third Camaro on eBay, with the proceeds going to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.

Starting price for the Camaro with a V-6 engine is $22,000. The V-8 SS model starts at $30,000.
