Jag offers new warranty

Jaguar Cars Ltd. offers a six-year, 75,000-mile, fully transferable, factory-backed warranty program beginning in March to customers who buy or lease a previously owned Jaguar. Vehicles offered through the Select Edition program will be low-mileage and in the $30,000 to $40,000 price range. They'll be put through an extensive, factory-approved, 120-point technical and cosmetic check to ensure eligibility. Meanwhile, Jaguar turned a $40 million profit in the fourth quarter of 1994, says Michael H. Dale, president of the importer.
