China's Nanjing Automobile Corp. selects a plant site in Ardmore, OK, to build MG vehicles. The vehicle to be built there, the TF coupe, will go on sale in 2008, returning the sporty brand to the U.S. following its departure in 1980.
Nanjing, which purchased assets of bankrupt British OEM MG Rover Group last year, has formed MG Motors North America Inc.
The new company will be responsible for sales, marketing and distribution.
