- August 2011 vehicle sales decreased 30.7% vs. July 2011 sales.
- 2011 sales through August totaled 1,805,877. This was up 1.4% over the same period in 2010.
- PSA Peugeot Citroen was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 588,460, resulting in a 32.6% market share.
