Germany Vehicle Sales Down 5.6% in May

Germany vehicle sales totaled 316,625 units for May 2012, down 5.6% vs. May 2011.

May 2012 vehicle sales increased 5.5% compared with April 2012 sales.

2012 sales through May totaled 1,466,139, down 0.1% over the same period in 2011.

Volkswagen is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 408,270, resulting in a 27.9% market share.
