Germany vehicle sales totaled 262,944 units for August 2011, up 18.6% vs. August 2010.
August 2011 vehicle sales decreased 8.9% compared with July 2011 sales.
2011 sales through August totaled 2,334,808, up 12.2% over the same period in 2010.
Volkswagen AG is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 631,756, resulting in a 27.1% market share.
