- October 2011 vehicles sales decreased 15.2% compared with September 2011 sales.
- 2011 sales through October totaled 2,730,136. This was up 7.8% over the same period in 2010.
- Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 836,936, resulting in a 30.7% market share.
