India vehicle sales totaled 247,898 units for July 2011, down 2.2% vs. July 2010.
July 2011 vehicles sales decreased 1.2% compared with June 2011 sales.
2011 sales through July totaled 1,940,145. This was up 12.9% over the same period in 2010.
Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 629,576, resulting in a 32.4% market share.
