India vehicle sales totaled 243,507 units for August 2013, down 3.0% vs. August 2012.
August 2013 vehicles sales decreased 0.5% compared with July 2013 sales.
2013 sales through August totaled 2,221,294. This was down 8.3% over the same period in 2012.
Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 705,380, resulting in a 31.8% market share.
