India Vehicle Sales Down 6.3% in April

India vehicle sales totaled 266,974 units for April 2013, down 6.3% vs. April 2012.

April 2013 vehicles sales decreased 22.6% compared with March 2013 sales.

2013 sales through April totaled 1,217,539. This was down 9.2% over the same period in 2012.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 399,394, resulting in a 32.8% market share.
