India Vehicle Sales Down 9.0% in May

India vehicle sales totaled 259,175 units for May 2013, down 9.0% vs. May 2012.

May 2013 vehicles sales decreased 3.1% compared with April 2013 sales.

2013 sales through May totaled 1,477,124. This was down 9.2% over the same period in 2012.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 477,215, resulting in a 32.3% market share.
