- September 2011 vehicles sales increased 12.7% compared with August 2011 sales.
- 2011 sales through September totaled 2,485,194. This was up 10.5% over the same period in 2010.
- Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 785,478, resulting in a 31.6% market share.
