India Vehicle Sales Up 6.7% in June

India vehicle sales totaled 272,357 units for June 2014, up 6.7% vs. June 2013.

June 2014 vehicles sales increased 5.9% compared with May 2014.

2014 sales through June totaled 1,608,556. This was down 7.2% over the same period in 2013.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 569,239, resulting in a 35.4% market share.
