Italy Vehicle Sales Up 5.5% in September

Italy vehicle sales totaled 122,419 units for September 2014, up 5.5% vs. September 2013.

September 2014 vehicle sales increased 107.1% compared with August 2014 sales. The ending of the European holiday likely contributed to the jump.

2014 sales through September totaled 1,132,507, up 4.6% over the same period in 2013.

Fiat was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 314,248, resulting in a 27.8% market share.
