Japan Vehicle Sales Down 1.2% in May

Japan vehicle sales totaled 363,370 units for May, down 1.2% vs. May 2013.

May 2014 sales increased 5.3% compared with April 2014.

2014 sales through May totaled 2,553,252, up 12.9% over the same period in 2013.

Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 702,640, resulting in a 27.5% market share.
