Japan vehicle sales totaled 305,496 units for January, down 16.7% vs. January 2010.
January 2011 sales increased 6.1% compared with December 2010.
Toyota Motor Corp. was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 86,388, resulting in a 28.3% market share.
