Japan Vehicle Sales Down 7.8% in January

Japan vehicle sales totaled 383,499 units for January, down 7.8% vs. January 2012.

January 2013 sales increased 13.3% compared with December 2012.

Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 110,528, resulting in a 28.8% market share.
